Indications
DULPRIDE™ is prescribed for:

Dosage & Administration
Standard Dosage (As per medical advice):
Schizophrenia (Positive Symptoms): 400-800 mg daily, divided into 2 doses
Negative Symptoms & Dysthymia: 50-300 mg once daily
Acute Psychosis: Up to 1200 mg/day in divided doses
Important Guidelines:
Take with or without food, preferably at the same time daily.
Effects may take 1-2 weeks to show noticeable improvement.
Avoid alcohol & sedatives to prevent excessive drowsiness.
Do not stop suddenly—dose reduction is necessary under medical supervision.
Precautions & Warnings
May cause mild drowsiness, dry mouth, or dizziness initially.
Risk of movement disorders (extrapyramidal symptoms) at higher doses.
Not recommended in elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis (increased mortality risk).
May increase prolactin levels, leading to menstrual irregularities & sexual dysfunction.
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease or Parkinson’s disease.
Seek immediate medical help if experiencing severe restlessness, uncontrolled movements, or high fever (neuroleptic malignant syndrome).
